EA Announce FIFA World Cup 2014, But Is PS3 & Xbox 360 Only!

It will come as no surprise that EA will be releasing an accompanying FIFA title for this year’s World Cup set in Brazil.  After all it happens for each world cup and football fans alike often look forward to this release every 4 years.  But what will come as somewhat of a surprise is that 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil will be releasing  on April 15th in North America (I’m guessing the 18th across Europe) for the PS3 and Xbox 360 only and will not be coming to the PC, PS4 or Xbox One.

It not only surprises that the FIFA World Cup will not be coming to the new generation consoles, but I did also expect it to release in digital form, as they did with EA’s 2012 European Championships.  Surely it would have been easier to release this game in digital form across all formats at a lower price point, rather than releasing it in physical form for the PS3 and Xbox 360?
