Earth Defense Force 2025 Unleashes A New Trailer & Screenshots

A new trailer and a few multiplayer screenshots have been released for Earth Defense Force 2025, the next title in the Earth Defense Force series from Japanese developer Sandlot.

Earth Defense Force 2025 is a tongue-in-cheek action game, allowing players to control a variety of EDF (Earth Defense Force) classes such as Ranger, Air Raider, Fencer and Wing Divers to exterminate menacing insects and protect the Earth from an alien invasion. As you can probably tell this is a series that focuses more on enjoyable gameplay rather than a deep, meaningful plot. But that’s a good thing because these games are all about racking up kills and just having a blast.

For the first time in the series players can join up into some  four-player multiplayer action on home consoles and arm themselves with more weapons than ever before. Add to that a ton of missions, Earth Defense Force 2025 is an all-out battle and one you’ll be sure to enjoy. Don’t believe me?
