Forza Horizon 2 – First Screenshots Released

Forza-horizon-2-1

Yesterday Forza Horizon 2 was announced and it was revealed that it will be coming to both the Xbox One and Xbox 360.  Two development teams will be working on each of the Xbox formats, with Playground Games working on the Xbox One version running on the Forza Motorsport 5 engine, while Sumo Digital (Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed) will be developing the Xbox 360 version.

Following yesterday’s announcement, the first batch of screenshots have been released for Forza Horizon 2 (presumably the Xbox One version) and it’s fair to say that they look very lush.  Also just like Forza Motorsport 5, Forza Horizon 2 will be at a gorgeous 1080p.  Though unlike Forza Motorsport 5’s 60fps, Forza Horizon 2 will run at 30fps.  I imagine this fps difference will be down to the huge open world playground that features in Forza Horizon 2, but I have no doubts that it will look and play absolutely beautifully.

Hopefully with E3 kicking off next week, we also might be treated to some gameplay footage very soon.

Forza Horizon 2 is expected to release towards the end of this year.
