Forza Horizon 2 – Goes Gold, Free Launch DLC & Demo Available Today
It has been confirmed via the official Forza Motorsport Vine account that the Xbox exclusive open-world racer Forza Horizon 2 has gone Gold! This means that the game is ready to ship to retail. This news comes on the day that the playable demo (with a file size of 10.43GB) has launched on the Xbox One marketplace, so what are you waiting for? Get downloading!

As an added bonus, it has been revealed that Forza Horizon 2 will be getting some free DLC for launch, which is actually available to download right now. The Launch Bonus Car Pack will include the following eight cars:
- 1956 Ford F-100
- 1968 Abarth 595 esseesse
- 1987 Buick Regal GNX
- 1993 Renault Clio Williams
- 1997 Land Rover Defender 90
- 2003 Ford Focus RS
- 2012 Cadillac Escalade ESV
- 2015 Ford Mustang GT
In addition, as with recent Forza games, Forza Horizon 2 will have its own VIP membership and Car Pass. The Forza Horizon 2 VIP membership will sell at £15.99, but if you are a Forza Motorsport 5 VIP member, then you will get a generous 50% discount, taking the price down to £7.99! The VIP membership will gift you with five new cars, in-game gifts from the Forza community team, 2x in-game reward acceleration, access to special events and in-game recognition of being a member.
The Car Pass which will cost you £19.99 and will grant you access to six monthly DLC packs, totalling to 31 extra cars, the DLC kicks-off in October. As a bonus, Car Pass owners will also receive the free 2010 Noble M600.
Forza Horizon 2 will release for the Xbox One (developed by Playground Games) and the Xbox 360 (Sumo Digital) on September 30th in North America and October 3rd in the UK.
