Gears of War 3 DLC to ditch Delta Squad

According to the games designer Cliff  ‘Cliffy B’ Bleszinski one of the upcoming four DLC releases for Gears of War 3 will not follow Delta Squad (Marcus, Baird, Cole and Dom). Before you freak out he has stated than the Single-player DLC will follow Michael Barrick, a main character in the Gears Of War comic arc ‘Hollow’ which bridges the story gap between Gears of War and Gears of War 2. Cliff also stated that it won’t be following that storyline

“No, it won’t be the graphic novel. But it will have all new campaign content that doesn’t have Marcus, Dom, Cole and Baird in it. Expect Barrick and more…”

So now that Delta Squads story is over hopefully we can expect big things from the DLC and not just more weapon skins.
