Gears Of War 3 – Friday – Impressions – Eurogamer Expo

Eurogamer day one and of course we had to give this bad boy a go. Sat at the rather large Gears 3 section we waited anxiously to give it a go, and then our patience was rewarded with awesome.

Gears of War 3 is incredible. Everything its predecessors was has been improved on in magnificent glory. Now bare in mind we only got a look at the wave mode where you set out to defeat waves of enemies as a locust. However what we played was immense. The graphics were rendered in brutal, bloody and it was pure beautiful. Not to forget the gameplay was delivered in seemless flowing glory , even as a boomer.

The wave system that Beast Mode gives which is similar to the Gears Of War 2 horde mode, a time limit in which you must kill all the enemies trying to kill you and believe me those humans just love to put bullets in your soft decaying flesh. It is then up to you to put a large chunky blade into their heads. It’s like a large tug of war except with bullets and swords and just general bloody violence.
