Gears Of War 3 Gets Season Pass and Breaks Records With 1.3M Preorders

Epic’s upcoming title Gears Of War 3, the last of the original trilogy has broken Preorder records. Microsoft have confirmed today that Gears Of War 3 is the fastest pre-selling title in the whole of the Xbox 360’s history racking up 1.3 million preorders.

Along with this announcement Microsoft also announced  The ‘Season Pass’  ranging at  2400 MS Point (£20, $30) purchase that gets you four DLC packs that Epic will release for the game over the course of the next year. purchase that delivers fans four DLC packs with an overall 33 per cent discount.

The Season Pass will be purchasable from launch on September 20.

Along wth the announcements last week we also received the final details of all the Gears Of War 3 maps.
