Gears of War: Judgment was officially announced today at Microsoft’s E3 conference, with a teaser trailer shown. Not much was shown about the game, apart from what we have already seen on the cover of Gameinformer’s magazine.  We see Baird in handcuffs, then fighting some locust with a Lancer-like weapon. An extended trailer and gameplay is to be shown after the conference.

Check back later when we have the latest trailer.

Update:

Rod Fergusson has confirmed that Gears of War: Judgment will still be a first person shooter and the reason why they are focusing on Baird this time, was becauae he turned out to be the mist popular male character of Gears of War 3. A new game mode was also unveiled called Overrun, this seems to combine both Beast mode and Horde mode in a competitive form. One team plays as the Locust and the others as COGS, this has the potential to be a game winning mode, so check back when we have more news on this. Spike All Access Live also showed hints of gameplay footage and for all you Gears fans it would seem that you can relax if this footage is anything to go by. It seems to have the same feel and motion as previous gears and to whet your appetite more, watch the E3 trailer below.
