Gears of War: Judgment appears as though it will be the toughest one to beat even on normal difficult thanks to its new system called S3 Joystiq reports. Apparently S3 stands for smart spawn system, and seems to want players to be on their toes at all times.

The system adapts to every situation the player is in and places new enemies around the environment according to where the player is positioned. It also seems to incorporate aspects found in Left 4 Dead, whereby if players find themselves playing a situation repeatedly the scenario will change every time, throwing new types of enemies at the player. This is a great inclusion and could give the game high re-playability. We are also told that with each difficulty change, enemies will appear that you may not have seen in the previous difficultly. This sounds as though it could keep the game fresh with each play through.

S3 sounds like a very logical step forward, Gears of War 3 did lower the difficulty compared to Gears of War 2, so it’s great to see that Epic Games and People Can Fly provide for the hardcore players this time around.

What do you guys think of this new system? Let us know in the comments below.
