Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition Announced

Developer DrinkBox is bringing Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition to new platforms! The updated version of Guacamelee, which released last April, is heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U!

Similar to the edition that released on the PC, this version gathers all previously released DLC into one game as well as expanding the original story with new bosses and levels. Playable characters are also set to receive new abilities. An announcement trailer is available to watch on IGN’s website.

Guacamelee follows Juan, a protagonist who must rescue El Presidente’s daughter with the help of a luchador mask. The game features similarities to Nintendo’s Metroid in terms of structure, as well as being filled to the brim with video game references.
