Obsidian’s South Park Game Retitled ‘South Park: The Stick of Truth’?

The Xbox Marketplace has updated Obsidian’s South Park: The Game page by changing the name to South Park: The Stick of Truth as well as new box art and a banner.

So it seems that Obsidian’s South Park game will be called South Park: The Stick of Truth if the Xbox Marketplace is anything to go by. They also revealed the new box art and banner and also changed the release date to today, though unless it’s on store shelves now, it would seem to be incorrect.

This isn’t 100 percent official until Obsidian or THQ confirm it but it is interesting to see that Microsoft have done this.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is scheduled for a release in the second half of 2012.
