July’s Games With Gold Announced

It’s nearly the end of the month, and so next month’s Games With Gold have been announced for Xbox 360 and One. Throughout July, Gold members can expect to be treated to three free new games, alongside Mad and The Curse of The Brotherhood, which will remain free throughout July.

For Xbox One owners, June’s Halo: Spartan Assault will be replaced by Drinkbox’s Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition. An update to the original Guacuamelee!, we discussed the game’s new features recently, and it’s a pleasant surprise to see it made available to Gold members for free from July 2nd.

On July 1st, Gold members on the Xbox 360 will be able to download Gotham City Impostors, a humorous FPS set in the Batman universe that sees players take control of civilians impersonating the Dark Knight and Joker.

July 16th, however, is where things get a little crazy, as that’s the date you’ll be able to pick up your free download of Battleblock Theater, a game that has you solving puzzles under the watchful eyes of sadistic felines. It’s definitely not something you should miss out on.

Remember; each game is available for only a limited time, so be sure to at least add them to your download queue so you can download them at a later date.
