A leaked poster has appeared on Reddit that has pretty much revealed the name of the next Destiny expansion, Rise of Iron.  The image features a Titan wearing Iron Banana, sorry Iron Banner gear, so it will be interesting to see if it tells of some origin story of the event.  It also looks as if the image is located on Earth, or the Cosmodrome as its referred to in the game.

According to Kotaku, two of their sources have confirmed that the poster is genuine and it is said that it will feature a new Raid, a Raid that was cut from 2015’s House of Wolves expansion and maybe associated with The Fallen, and judging by the poster image, Lord Saladin is accompanied by a pack of Wolves, so it looks to be linked to the House of Wolves in some kind of way.  The sources also say that the expansion which is set to release this September is larger than both The Dark Below and House of Wolves combined.  An official announcement of Rise of Iron is expected to be made at E3 this June.

Back in February it was reported that the next big expansion (which looks to be Rise of Iron) would release this year, with the Destiny sequel being delayed until next year.  As always, we’ll update you as soon as we hear of any further developments.

Destiny: The Taken King improved a lot on the vanilla Destiny, you can read our reviews by clicking on the respected links.
