This is quite unusual to hear and has got me thinking “Why the hell would you want to hack somebody?” Clearly the guy who did hack Major Nelson or should I say his team are losers.

If you don’t know who Major Nelson (Larry Hryb) is he is the Director of Programming for Xbox Live who has had his Xbox Live account hacked.

His gamer tag and community name is known as “Major Nelson” to fellow Xbox gamers. Major Nelson was part of  the team that helped launch its online success for the the Xbox and was one of the first gaming executives to post a regular podcast and blog and also twitter (MajorNelson)

The website or “online crew” behind the hacking are known as lightzz.com who are claiming responsibility by saying that they have hacked or “jacked” from what the video is called Major Nelson account. He constantly is gloating how he has jacked Larry Hryb’s account and made a YouTube video up to gloat about his hacking skills. He also states his Skype and AIM name making himself known as “Roid-Monkey” (Skype name). He also says he can hack anybody’s account for $60 per user. What a F**KING loser seriously, who would think its cool or “funny” to go hacking accounts.

In a recent update given to Kotaku by Hyrb himself he said, “I have control of the account, the enforcement team took care of it”. Furthermore, the Director of Policy and Enforcement for Xbox Live Stephen Toulouse, the hack looks like it was “very specific” and “very targeted” to Hryb’s account. The matter will be investigated further.

At least Majors back to himself, Lets hope Mr Roid Monkey gets what he deserves.

Below is the video of him proving the hack.
