Mass Effect Multiplayer?

A job posting on Bioware Montreal shows that Bioware looking for a Multiplayer Programmer. Now, most of you reading this will have the immediate reaction of “NO.” That makes sense because Mass Effect does not need multiplayer. Bioshock didn’t need multiplayer, and when it was included, it was not well received. But this is Bioware we’re talking about though. Multiplayer will be integrated so seamlessly, you’d wonder why it wasn’t there in the first place.

Would there be competitive multiplayer? I’m betting my money that they’re leaning towards a cooperative experience.  Maybe there’s going to be a more dangerous enemy that you’d have to work with the enemy? There aren’t any details for this at all, so right now it’s all speculation. But the job posting does prove that there will be multiplayer in Mass Effect 3.
