If the upcoming Hi-Def version of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker making you giddy, well there is a newly announced feature for the PSP-port of the critically acclaimed title.

The main man of MGS, Hideo Kojima, has announced that Peace Walker HD will feature online co-op (or CO-OPS, as it’s known in-game) through the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. This means that such an online feature will be available for both PS3 and 360 versions of the revamped title.

Kojima also noted that up to 4 players can team up online, and with that, the game will still run at a smooth 60 frames per second.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD will be bundled with HD reboots of MGS 2: Sons of Liberty and MGS 3: Snake Eater (Subsistence version), to make up the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, out later this year in Europe. Peace Walker HD will however be available separately in Japan.
