For those of you that were expecting more from Metal Gear Solid: Rising at this year’s E3 will be very disappointed, as Raiden will remain absent from the public eye during the most popular video game event of the year.
This information comes, despite the fact that there has been virtually no information or details on the eagerly awaited MGS title, since an official trailer was revealed to the public at E3 2010.
The designer of MGS: Rising revealed the unfortunate news during Konami’s pre-E3 conference. However, it’s said that they continue to work hard in getting the game finished.
No particular reason has been given as to why Metal Gear Solid: Rising will not be shown at E3 2011. During the same show, the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and the Zone of Enders HD Collection were also announced for both PS3 and Xbox 360.
Metal Gear Solid: Rising is set for a release sometime in 2012.
