MGSV: The Phantom Pain Releasing 2015?

Just in case you’ve been living under a rock lately, then you might be aware that a certain Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is releasing this week, which is of course the prologue to the full game that is The Phantom Pain.  Much speculation has suggested that The Phantom Pain will release towards the end of 2015, perhaps even 2016 as some websites suggested.  But according to some information that was discovered by a Reddit user, The Phantom Pain may just be releasing as early as “early 2015”

The news came about when the Reddit user registered their copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and was then presented with an image that read “Come back early 2015 to claim your Downloadable Content.”

While this is very positive news indeed, fans of the Metal Gear franchise will be very familiar with the delays that these games often suffer.  So hopefully Konami will make an announcement very soon in regards to the release date of The Phantom Pain.
