A new fitness service for the Kinect Kinect Play Fit, is set to be released alongside a new peripheral, reports The Verge. While it’s nothing new, as EA Sports Active 2 shipped with a heart rate monitor, the new game appears to have deeper integration to the Xbox 360 itself, offering up a cross-gaming application to track your heart rate and fitness levels throughout a number of Kinect titles. Not much is known at this time however, so expect to hear more at E3. Along the same lines as Nintendo’s Vitality Sensor, which has yet to see the light of day, the attachment, codenamed Joule will track your heart rate wirelessly while the Kinect tracks your body movements.

Expect to see more on June 4th at Microsoft’s Press Conference.
