Microsoft Responds To Halo 4 Leak, Perma-Banning Instore For Early Players

Microsoft has responded to the claims of Halo 4 being leaked online.  Microsoft are resorting to the ban hammer for those with a pre-release version of Halo 4‘s multiplayer via Xbox Live.

Micrsoft have said in a statement

We have seen the reports of ‘Halo 4’ content being propped on the Web and are working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation,”

After having reports that Halo 4 started appearing online and Microsoft are trying to track down who’s responsible they have already users trying to play Halo 4’s multiplayer a month before the game’s release. A letter below shows one user receiving a permanent ban for the violation.
