New Red Dead Redemption Information

One of the years most anticipated titles, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption is bursting onto platforms in the UK on May 21st.

If you’re like me and physically can’t wait to get your mitts on the game, these teasing screenshots won’t do anything to help that, but the games graphics look incredible, almost unparalleled. Looks like Rockstar’s Wild West based game is onto a winner here.

As well as the incredible screenshots, we’ve been provided with a look at the Rockstar Games Social Club aspects of the game, where players can check their progress and unlock new things. The first of these challenges will be Pike’s Basin, where players will have to fight against some rustlers and complete three tasks – kill three enemies with a single Dead Eye burst, drag a gang member through the Basin via a lasso, and finally kill all of the enemies whilst on horseback. So what do you get for completing this? A funky little cheat that means your bullets cause your victims to spontaneously burst into flames. Sounds well worth it.

You’ll all be able to compare your progress with that of your friends, compete in the vast multi-player activities available, and the game will tell you where you need to go in order to fully 100% complete the game.
