News Announcement: 2K Sports Announces LeBron James as NBA 2K14 Cover Athlete

For basketball fans and those of 2k Sports titles, they are in for a treat: LeBron James will make his video game debut on the cover of NBA® 2K14. He will also star in the exclusive King James pre-order package for Xbox 360 and Sony’s PlayStation 3 consoles.

LeBron James is known today as one of the best basketball players in his generation. Currently he is defending the championship for Miami Heat in the NBA finals. LeBron James is very excited to be a part of the famed NBA simulation franchise, stating, “My friends, family, and fans all know how much I love NBA 2K. I remember, as a kid, getting so excited for the game to come out and see who was on the cover and it’s amazing to be a part of this great tradition…I know from my own experience and now watching my own kids, NBA 2K is among the coolest and purest ways for fans to connect to the NBA. He will take centre stage in the King James pre-order package for Xbox 360 and PS3. Those who pre-order the package will receive:

Fans will receive their pre-order on October 1, 2013 for North America and October 4, 2013 internationally.  Furthermore, the game will a part of Xbox One and PS4’s all-in-one packages later this year.
