Interested who’s behind Square Enix’s NIER? then good news for you. We’ve got profiles, and also a magical trailer below. For any fans of previous Square Enix games you’ll to be happy to know who’s on NIER’s team.

Yosuke_Saito

The Lovely Mr. Yosuke Saito (Picture above) was born in Yokohama, Kanagawa, on 25th August 1970.

He joined Enix (current Square Enix) in 1992 and worked on many projects as the producer such as family games and PC titles.star-ocean-the-last-hope-famitsu-scans-oct-1-01

In 2003, Mr. Saito assumed the position of operating officer to concurrently serve as the Head of the 10th Business Development Division and the Director of the Mobile Business Division. He then moved on to take up the post of Executive Producer in 2005. “NIER” is the first project in some time he has been involved in as the producer.

Titles which he has worked as the executive producer for, as of this year, include the following; the “STAR OCEAN” series, the “VALKYRIE PROFILE” series, “FINAL FANTASY  FABLES: CHOCOBO’S DUNGEON” (Wii), “FINAL FANTASY FABLES: CHOCOBO TALES” (DS), “CONCERTO GATE” (PC/Windows), “FANTASY EARTH” (PC/Windows), “PROJECT SYLPHEED” (Xbox 360), “CROSS TREASURES” (DS) and “MR. BRAIN” (MSiWare).

Mr. Taro was born in Nagoya, Aichi, on 6th June 1970.

He joined cavia inc. in 2001 and gave direction for the PS2 game, “DRAKENGARD”, in 2003.

Keiichi Okabe (MONACA, Inc.)

Composer for “NIER”

Mr. Okabe was born in Kobe, Hyogo, on 26th May 1969.

He joined Namco Ltd. as a sound creator in 1994 and was involved with various titles but mainly with videogames for professional use. After leaving Namco in 2001, he was working as a freelancer until he established MONAKA Inc. in 2004. Since then, he has been actively producing projects of sound creation with a central focus on games and videos.
