Perfect Dark Released Today On XBLA

Another piece of the XBLA Block Party has been released on good ol’ St. Patty’s Day. The Nintendo 64 Classic, Perfect Dark,  from Rare has finally been released today.

You can now play the old school game online and reminisce with friends on how blowing into a cartridge was better than returning a disc to your local electronic store. For me personally, I don’t like Perfect Dark. I was a Goldeneye fan and felt it was superior in every way. Rather than be  excited for this game, I’m just thinking about when/if Bond will ever make his way to XBLA. I remember rumors about the game and seeing screenshots of the game with improved graphics and I guess they were all a hoax or it was cancelled.

Not to rain on anyone’s Joana Dark parade. You’re going to enjoy the game regardless of what I say. I was just adding my two cents.
