Rockstar Confirm Red Dead Redemption DLC

We all love a bit of Co-op DLC and what better than the cost of only… Nothing! Read on for more details.

Rockstar today have announced that they will be brining out some Red Dead Redemption DLC in June.  The cost… Nothing, Zilch its going to be absolutely free!

The DLC will be releasing on both the Xbox Marketplace and the PSN, The DLC will be brining extra life to the newly announce cooperative mode in Red Dead Redemption.

The DLC known to be releasing as the Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack will feature six all-new cooperative multiplayer missions to play with 2-4 players.  
Rock star have decided to tease us with only knowing about 3 of the missions in the pack but there will be six missions to get your mitts on.  
“Walton’s Gold”
Walton’s Gang have taken control of a mining camp rich with gold.  Fight through the camp and load your mine cart with as much gold as you can carry and get out as fast as you can – Walton’s boys have rigged the place to blow!
“The River”
Ride a raft down river, taking out rebel encampments along the way until you reach the rebel stronghold of Nosalida and a final epic battle for the town’s massive weapons caches. Watch out for Gatling gun-equipped enemy rafts.
“Ammunition”
The Mexican Army has the town of Tesoro Azul under siege.  Storm the gates under heavy cannon, Gatling gun and sniper fire to destroy the Mexican artillery placements.

Rockstar can happily also confirm there will be XP bonuses for co-op play via the DLC also new Achievements/ Trophies to unlock.

We also have been told that there will also be more DLC appearing to the Red Dead Redemption world.

this game looks awsome but so far I have only heard info of multiplayer which is all well and good but I want to know about the story before I buy it
