Rockstar Games To Investigate GTA V Copies Being Sold Early

Copies of the upcoming game Grand Theft Auto 5 have been shipped earlier than expected from most retailers this weekend, with some people reportedly getting them yesterday and even earlier after the amount of leaked footage which has hit the internet in recent days. Rockstar Games have said that they’re going to investigate these retailers, primarily Amazon, for breaching the September 17th street date.

“We are in the process of investigating early ‘sales’ to determine how and why that is occurring.” Rockstar told Games Industry.

Nobody knows as of yet what actions are going to take place, if any, by Rockstar Games.
