Rumor: Marvel vs Capcom 3 Could Really Happen.

Rumors, rumors, rumors. This game has had rumors of a third game ever since the game came out. We’ve seen videos of user created Marvel vs. Capcom 3 gameplay on Youtube and endless lists of what we want to see in the third game. This rumor was sparked again by Tatsunoko vs. Capcom creator, saying he wanted to make another  “VS” title. Everyone immediately assumed it would be Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

That rumor was then denied, brought up again, denied once more, and now it has resurfaced.

According to Planet Xbox 360 a press only Captivate event in Hawaii, held yearly by the Japanese publisher, has apparently shown the sequel to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on the Xbox 360 and PS3. According to the report, the game will have a similar art style to Street Fighter 4 and will be in “full HD” (1080p). Apparently, there were even sightings of Storm, Magneto, Wolverine, Spider-Man, and The Hulk will be back; but the team behind MvC3 says that the amount of characters will blow everyone out of the water.

The article even states that we will hear more details about the game next week and it will be playable in June. Of course Capcom was approached about this and all they had to say was “We don’t comment on speculation or rumors.”
