SSX To Get Competitive Multiplayer?

Two days ago EA released two screenshots and a video that were a showcase of new content for SSX, EA has not said what it is yet, but from the screenshots it most certainly looks like competitive multiplayer is making its way to SSX. Check them out below.

As you can see from both screenshots, there appears to be some kind of leader board on the right hand side, more importantly in the second screenshot you can other player tags and there characters. While the multiplayer that is already included in SSX is a great addition and makes for a great incentive to keep playing the game, competitive multiplayer is something that it really needed to add to extend the longevity of the game, so here’s hoping that this is what we will be getting. Lastly there was a video included, which can be seen below, but frankly I can’t see any connection to the two screenshots. So leave comments below if you can work it out.
