Support the Japanese relief fund and get some cool gaming swag in the process!

I’m constantly amazed at the things people will do out of pure goodwill, none more so as of late than when I look at members of gaming community Ready Up who seem to be willing to part with what I can only assume is some deeply precious loot over on their eBay page, all in the name of charity! 100% of all sales from these items will go directly to the Japanese relief fund via eBay’s in built donation system, so there’s no room here for cynics who think the sellers will just run off with the money once the auction is over. Also, this is a true auction with no “buy it now” option, so the sky really is the limit on the final donated amount!

The currently available items are: a beautiful Xbox 360 Hori Real Arcade Pro EX-SE with a custom Okami faceplate, and copies of Hideo Kojima developed visual novel classic Snatcher for the Sega Saturn and survival horror grandaddy Silent Hill 2 for the PS2, both of which are signed by by famed composer Akira Yamaoka.

Just count yourselves lucky this is for charity, otherwise I’d be [censored] anyone who tried to outbid me on that copy of Snatcher……

If you want to help out with the Japanese Tsunami relief effort without breaking the bank, Red Cross is always a good place to start. Alternatively PlayStation users can donate directly through the PSN.
