WWE 2K16 – The Terminator Will Be Pre-Order Bonus

Yes you read that right, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator will be a playable character in the forthcoming WWE 2K16.  To the casual fan this might come as a surprise, but in fact Arnold has had a great relationship with WWE over the years, in particular with Vince McMahon and Triple H.  Recently he was inducted into the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame this year, so while The Terminator seems somewhat random, Arnold’s involvement is not quite so.  Though in saying that, I never saw this one coming!

By pre-ordering WWE 2K16 you will be able to play as the T-800 from the original 1984 Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgement Day from 1991.  Can you imagine that entrance and theme music?

Mr Schwarzenegger himself is excited by his involvement and had this to say:

I’ve achieved many things in my life, but I’ve always said success means staying hungry and pushing the limits,” said Schwarzenegger. “I was honoured to join the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year, and now I’ll continue my WWE legacy with one of my biggest film roles immortalized in WWE 2K16. Match the Terminator against Stone Cold Steve Austin, Seth Rollins or Daniel Bryan, and there’s only one possible outcome: Hasta la vista, baby!

WWE 2K16 will release for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One October 27th in North America and the 30th across Europe…Hasta la vista baby.
