We were all left quite mystified at this years E3 when Microsoft discussed its plans for TV content on Xbox Live. Leaving out a lot of key details at the time, it looks like they are ready to show us what they will be offering up later this year.

Major Nelson just revealed the GIANT list of partners that will be delivering content for the system. While we do have a screenshot to look at, there are still some questions, mostly revolving around how the content will be accessed, and it’s currently unclear if each partner will have their own application ala BBC iPlayer and LoveFILM on the PS3, or if there will be one central portal to access the content!

No matter the answer, there’s a lot to look forward to, with close to 40 TV and entertainment providers heading to the system. Another handy feature is the Kinect integration, allowing you to search and control your viewing without a controller.

Worth noting is of course the fact that you will need a Gold account to access the content, though extra charges may or may not be present!
