Xbox Silver controller has a UK release date

Last November, the Xbox silver controller came out in the US whilst only available for UK customers via websites that had imported the product. Now, it has been announced that it will arrive to the UK in March this year bundled with a play & charge kit with a retail value of £44.99.

For those wondering what the big deal is with the controller, it’s main selling point is it’s d-pad which can be “transformed” fr0m a supposedly more accurate 8 directional mode into your standard 4 direction. This is supposed to make gameplay easier for fans of games which require precise movements with Street Fighter being a prime example. See a short demonstration in the video below.
