Zen Studios Announce Star Wars Pinball

Zen Studios today announced a brand new theme for tables on their Pinball FX2 / Zen Pinball 2 platforms, having sealed a deal with Lucasarts for the rights to produce Star Wars pinball tables. Zen have initially announced a set of three tables: ‘Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back’, ‘Boba Fett’, and ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’. They also revealed that there will be ten (!) Star Wars themed tables in total.

It seems they are looking to get this out there by the end of the month, so you won’t have long to wait to Jedi Mind Trick the tables into giving you a high score. Given the storied history of Star Wars, there’s massive scope for designs, and as such it should include every episode and major character in some shape or form. The pack of tables will release on the following platforms:

  • Pinball FX 2 (Xbox 360 and Windows 8)
  • Zen Pinball 2 (PS3, PS Vita) with Cross-Buy when purchased on PS3 to get the Vita version too.
  • Zen Pinball 2 (Mac)
  • Zen Pinball (iOS), also as a standalone app
  • Zen Pinball HD (Google Play), also as a standalone app
