Jade Raymond Now VP of Google

After leaving EA Motive, talented Jade Raymond has managed to nab a brilliant position that a lot of people might not have been expecting. As broken by gameindustry.biz, Jade Raymond has been appointed as the VP of Google!

I think this is great news as she is not only responsible for some big products like Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell: Conviction seeing the light of the day, but after a period of negativity surrounding working in games after Activision’s unprecedented layoff, it is nice to see that if you work for games, you can definitely achieve a lot!

It will be interesting to see what she ends up working on, but my guess is something games related as Google has been vocal about their VR and gaming tech.  We’ll update you once we know more.
