Rumours have been running wild that the next Metal Gear Solid Master Collection will include the likes of Peace Walker, MGS4 and MGS5. However, following the launch of Master Collection Vol.1 this week, it seems those rumours are looking ever more likely.

As shared by eagled-eyed fans in Reddit, code was discovered that all but confirms all of the aforementioned titles will be included in the Master Collection Vol.2. Sadly, there was no mention of the criminally underrated Nintendo GameCube remake, Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, which is a shame.

Unfortunately, the launch of Vol.1 hasn’t gone according to plan with fans reporting a number of performance issues with the remastered collection. As reported by Eurogamer, Konami has acknowledged the reported issues and will fix technical issues related to some jittery cut-scenes, as well as providing the option of playing MGS1, MGS2 and MGS3 windowed and full-screen. As for the NES ports featured in the collection, Konami plans on adding new CRT TV scanline filters as well as the option to change the pixel aspect of each game.

As for what the future holds, a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is on the way with no confirmed release date at the time of writing. Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1 is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
