New Prince of Persia is getting a free playable demo

Ubisoft has announced that the upcoming side-scrolling Prince of Persia game is getting a free playable demo, and we’ve been treated to a new gameplay trailer.

Not to be confused with the troubled Sands of Time remake, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is being developed by Ubisoft Montpellier: “lets players explore a handcrafted world at their own pace. From the majestic Citadel of Knowledge to the colourful landscapes of the Hyrcanian Forest, players will discover a variety of environments inspired by Persian mythology.”

What’s more, the new trailer gives us a tease as to what to expect from the story of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. As for the upcoming playable demo, it will be released on 11 January 2024.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be released on 18 January 2024 for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
