It seems that two of the most highly anticipated remakes are being released this year Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 from Konami.

Developed by Bloober Team, Konami announced the Silent Hill 2 remake in 2022 and it was expected to be released this year. As for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, that was announced in 2023 and was also expected to arrive this year. That being said, no release window or dates have been officially confirmed, yet.

However, in a recent PlayStation trailer uploaded to the official channels on YouTube as well as a website publishing, both the Silent Hill 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remakes are highlighted for a 2024 launch. The Silent Hill 2 remake will be a timed exclusive on PC and PS5, while MGS3 will be coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S from the get-go.

It’s still worth keeping in mind that neither Sony nor Konami has outright confirmed either release date, but judging by recent news, Konami fans have every reason to get excited for 2024.
