Big PlayStation Showcase event is next week
Sony has announced that its next big PlayStation Showcase event is taking place next week.
PlayStation Showcase will broadcast via the official social media channels and will feature “a wealth of new games” and a new IP coming to PS5 and PS VR2. Sony hasn’t revealed rumours suggesting that the long-awaited Metal Gear Solid 3 remake will feature, as well as the Resident Evil 4 remake DLC, Separate Ways.
Elsewhere, the Silent Hill 2 remake is set to make a re-appearance, and as it seems Konami is the talk of the town, perhaps we’ll also get a new Castlevania? Only time will tell. Others will also hope to finally see gameplay for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine, as well as Death Stranding 2. What’s more, with its release arriving next month, expect to see more of Final Fantasy XVI.
You can watch the PlayStation Showcase next Wednesday 24 May via YouTube or Twitch at 1pm PT/9pm UK time. The show is expected to run for “a bit over an hour”.
